This is one of my favorite songs
After the suppression of the uprising at Senate Square (December 1825) events unfolded tragically: five Decembrists were executed, most them were sent to Siberia. And after them, through cold and deprivation, their wives have gone to Siberia.
And this is one of the real story, reflecting the film "Star of captivating happiness." In the fall of 1827, an event occurred that struck Moscow. French subjects Poly Gebl went to Siberia to her (not even her husband) lover - Decembrist, Ivan Annenkov.
